Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

Our partner, a well-known German media company, is looking for aSenior IT Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d),to conduct audits on it's expanding portfolio. This is a full-time hybrid position in Munich metropolitan area, Germany.

About the team:

You will be part of a team dedicated to improving IT processes and ensuring the success of audits across business units and functional areas. The team works closely with various departments, including domestic and international subsidiaries, to enhance IT security, control systems, and process efficiency.

Your responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Security Assessment: Evaluate network components, servers, storage, and cloud environments to ensure they meet security best practices and compliance requirements. 
• Compliance Audits: Perform audits across IT infrastructure, ensuring systems adhere to regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Risk Assessment: Identify and assess vulnerabilities in IT infrastructure, providing actionable recommendations for remediation.
• Performance Monitoring: Oversee infrastructure performance, including networks, servers, and cloud systems, addressing inefficiencies and recommending improvements.
• Incident Investigation: Analyze infrastructure logs and past incidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Reporting and Documentation: Produce detailed reports on findings, risks, and recommended improvements for IT infrastructure.
• Collaboration: Partner with IT teams to address audit findings and ensure secure configurations across all systems.

Required qualifications:

• Strong knowledge ofIT infrastructure architecture, includingnetworks, servers, storage, and cloud systems.
• Proven experience ininfrastructure security.
• Proficient in analyzinginfrastructure logs and security incidents.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience inIT infrastructure auditing with a focus on security assessments.
• Knowledge oflog management tools for security event analysis.
• Relevant certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), or CCNA Security.
• Background in risk assessment and vulnerability analysis forIT infrastructure.
