Senior Systems Engineer

Our client URGENTLY requires a Senior Systems Engineer for 8 months+ Contracts in Canbera. 

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership for a major, large-scale Defence capability project. In this pivotal role, you will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, establish technical baselines, and manage complex system integration across the project lifecycle to support key acquisition and approval milestones. 

Skills and Experience required includes: 

• Minimum 10+ years in Systems Engineering, specifically delivering complex Defence, Government, or large-scale technology programs. 
• Sound understanding of the Defence Capability Life Cycle and acquisition processes. 
• Demonstrated experience in managing requirements, architectures, technical baselines, and technical risk management. 
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering efforts, including requirements development and architecture definition. 
• Oversee the development of key systems engineering artefacts and ensure alignment with project milestones. 

Must have (minimum) Active NV2 security clearance.
