We're looking for experienced, enthusiastic and approachable people to join our Christchurch Youth Services team as aHouse Leader.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting young people, encouraging others and helping create a positive, well-organised home environment.

About the role | He kōrero mō te tūranga

As House Leader, you'll combine hands-on support with additional responsibilities that help keep the house running smoothly.

Working alongside your Team Leader, you'll support your colleagues, maintain high standards of care and documentation, and help ensure our rangatahi receive consistent, person-centred support.

This isn't a management role. It's an opportunity to lead by example, share your experience and help build a team where everyone feels valued and supported.

The role includes dedicated administration time, participation in an on-call roster, and some evening and weekend work.

About you | Mōu

You'll bring:

• Experience supporting young people, ideally those with complex needs.

• A positive, calm and practical approach to challenges.

• An understanding of Positive Behaviour Support and person-centred practice.

• Strong communication, organisational and documentation skills.

• The confidence to guide, encourage and support your teammates.

• A genuine commitment to CCT's values and making a difference.

Most importantly, you're someone who leads through their actions, builds positive relationships and enjoys helping others succeed.
