Why Medinah?
Since 1924, Medinah Country Club has been creating exceptional experiences for our members, guests, and their families. Our team is at the heart of what makes Medinah special, bringing energy, hospitality, and a genuine commitment to creating memorable experiences every day.
For our youngest members, Medinah is a place to spend summer days at the pool, make new friends, participate in activities, and create memories that last well beyond the season.
We are looking for a Youth Activities Manager who is excited to oversee the day-to-day operations of our pool while helping bring our youth activities and junior programming to life.
You May Be the Ideal Candidate If...
You love creating memorable experiences for children and families and bring positive energy wherever you go.
You enjoy being hands-on and involved, whether that means welcoming families to the pool, leading an activity, supporting your team, or making sure the day is running smoothly.
You are creative, organized, and enjoy developing activities and programs that kids are excited to participate in.
Most importantly, you genuinely enjoy working with youth and want to help make Medinah a place where our youngest members can have fun, build friendships, and create lasting memories.
What You’ll Be Doing
As our Youth Activities Manager, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Club’s pool, while also coordinating youth activities and junior programming throughout Medinah.
- Oversee daily pool operations and maintain a visible, approachable presence for members, families, and team members.
- Create a safe, welcoming, organized, and fun environment for our members and their families.
- Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and support Youth Activities team members.
- Coordinate pool activities, games, programs, camps, and special events throughout the season.
- Serve as a key coordinator for junior programming across the Club, partnering with other departments to create engaging experiences for our youngest members.
- Develop and actively participate in creative, age-appropriate youth activities and programs.
- Build strong relationships with youth members and their families while responding to questions, requests, and concerns.
- Partner with the Communications team to develop and promote the annual youth programming calendar and upcoming activities.
- Ensure pool and youth activity areas are clean, organized, prepared, and operating with safety as a priority.
- Support registration, billing, supplies, programming needs, and other operational responsibilities associated with youth activities.
- Collaborate with teams throughout the Club to ensure junior programs and special events run smoothly.
- Jump in wherever needed to help create an exceptional experience for our members and their families.
