Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily oversight and support for Patient Access operations across the hospital.
  • Lead and develop a team responsible for registrations, admissions, emergency department registration, financial counseling, and bed assignment processes.
  • Ensure patients receive an outstanding first impression through exceptional service and efficient workflows.
  • Monitor registration quality, financial clearance activities, and operational performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to improve processes, enhance patient satisfaction, and achieve organizational goals.
  • Coach, mentor, and support team members while fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.
  • Help resolve patient, family, and staff concerns with professionalism and compassion.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate Degree preferred
  • 2-3 years of Patient Access or Pre-Service experience.
  • Previous supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience. Preferred experience in Patient Accounting or Healthcare Revenue Cycle
  • Ability to obtain one of the following certifications within one year of hire:
    • HFMA CRCR
    • NAHAM CHAA
    • NAHAM CHAM

Pay range: $24.60-$36.90

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
