
Assistant Tax Manager
Role Summary:
Â
Direct and Indirect tax matters (GST and Income Tax - Including  International Transfer Pricing), Maintenance of tax records, books of accounts upto finalisation, group reporting, statutory accounts, handling CAPEX accounting and matter of accounts and finance.
Â
Key responsibilities and activities include, but is not limited to:Â
Â
- Maintain tax records, Maintain books of accounts upto finalisation and General Accounting.
- Handle Tax and Transfer pricing audit.
- Independently handle complete end to end Direct and Indirect Tax compliances (file Returns and attend Tax Assessments).
- Compliance to Statutory Acts (GST, Income Tax. Companies Act).
- Preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.Â
- Monitoring changes in tax laws and regulations and assessing their impact to ensure ongoing compliance.Â
- Review, preparation, and calculation of CIT submissions and related tax compliance requirements.
- Prepare and review tax reconciliations for WHT, VAT, and other tax accounts, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies, and follow up with any receivables balances, if applicable.
- Co-ordinate with business to ensure Tax compliance across procurement, sales and finance processes.
- Prepare management reports and tax compliance dashboards.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for tax processes.
- Support finance team during statutory / group audits.
- Support in project management and accounting of CAPEX and CAPEX compliances.
- Regularly review financial transactions and reports to ensure accuracy, compliance with group financial policies and alignment with internal controls and regulatory standards.
- Support in month & year end closing process, along with the preparation of management reports.
- Collaborate with Auditors, Tax Consultants and Tax Department.
- Handling documentations with banks and regulatory authorities.
- Provide training, coaching, and support finance team members, fostering development, excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Undertake any additional responsibilities or ad-hoc assignments as required by the management.

Education:Bachelor’s of Commerce, equivalent / Master of Commerce / Inter CA  with minimum 5-6 years of experience OR CA
Â
Experience:With 5-6 years of relevant experience in tax and accounting.
At least 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or process leadership role.

LanguagesEnglish, Hindi.
OtherWorking experience in Manufacturing organisation.
