Position Summary

As aDietary Aide, you will assist in meal preparation, service, and kitchen operations while ensuring a clean and safe environment. You will work closely with the cook and dietary team to meet residents’ nutritional needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and distributemeal trays according to dietary guidelines
• Assist withserving meals and beverages to residents
• Clear trays and operate thedishwasher
• Monitor and recorddishwasher temperature and sanitation levels
• Prepare snacks and nourishments
• Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment
• Sweep, mop, and maintain kitchen and dining areas
• Store food and supplies in a safe and organized manner
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift
• Follow allfood safety and sanitation procedures
• Assist dietary team as needed to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

• Must be18 years of age or older
• Reliable transportation required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in ahealthcare or food service setting preferred
• Must obtain and maintain aFood Handler’s Certification
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
