 What YOU WILLEXPERIENCEIN THIS POSITION: 

In thisposition, youwillgetto: 

  • Facilitate problem solving activities for freightreceiving,distribution and warehousing processes. 

  • Perform process validations, freight audits,in-processinspections, andmonitorthe quality of manufacturing/distribution processes and products. 

  • Provide supportto design, manufacturing, and quality engineering functions for data collection, analysis, product review, and process capabilities. 

  • Perform containment activities preventing potential or additional quality defects. 

  • Provide formal documentedKPI reports suitable for customer or internal use asrequired. 

  • Determine and useappropriate measuring tools and equipment to verify dimensional and functional requirements. 

  • Develop and maintainKPI charts for monitoring / improving performance. 

  • Perform product reviews and analysis to determine cause and/or disposition. 

  •  Support metric tracking and data entry for internal databases 

  • Lead and/or assist in the calibration of inspection, test, and measurement equipment. 

  • Assist with training personnel to adhere to quality standards.    

 

You have: 

  • High school diploma orG.E.D.   

  • 1 year experience in the quality process and experience with Quality Management Systems preferred. 

  • Experience and understanding of charting and process control methods preferred.  

  • Skill inidentifying root causes of routine problems/issues and the ability to develop recommendations for resolution. 

  • Ability to effectively organize, planworkload and work in a self-directed manner. 

  • Ability toutilize good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability tointerface with people across multiple functional areas within the company. 

  • Ability to interpret and apply Quality System / ISO procedures and documentation. 

  • Skills in attention to detail and accuracy 

  • Ability to applyappropriate math and geometry. 

  • Skill in using personal computers including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.). 

  • Ability tolift up to 50 lbs. 

  • Ability to stand and walkfrequently.
