Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Design, develop, and maintain VB.NET and C# server-side applications using ASP.NET WebFormsÂ
- Build and optimize SQL Server databases: stored procedures, functions, views, triggersÂ
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the full technology stackÂ
- Implement client-side functionality with JavaScript and jQuery (and legacy front-end frameworks as needed)Â
- Collaborate with product owners and DevOps teams to ensure seamless releasesÂ
- Analyze and optimize application and query performance for scale and reliabilityÂ
- Produce clear technical documentation and participate in code reviewsÂ
- Required QualificationsÂ
- VB.NET: 3+ years of hands-on experienceÂ
- ASP.NET WebForms: 3+ years building and maintaining WebForms applicationsÂ
- SQL Server: 3+ years; good at writing and tuning stored procedures, functions, triggers, and complex queriesÂ
- JavaScript: Strong proficiency, including DOM manipulation and AJAX patternsÂ
- Proficient with Visual Studio (3+ years) and GIT source controlÂ
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills; able to dive into legacy code and refactor as neededÂ
- Excellent verbal and written communication; experience collaborating in cross-functional teamsÂ
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and shift priorities on short noticeÂ
Preferred Skills & Nice-to-HavesÂ
- Experience with any front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, AngularJS, React)Â
- Background in performance profiling and load testingÂ
- Exposure to CI/CD tooling and automated deployment pipelinesÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fieldÂ
- Previous experience working in a Scrum/Agile environmentÂ
