SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and maintain VB.NET and C# server-side applications using ASP.NET WebForms 
• Build and optimize SQL Server databases: stored procedures, functions, views, triggers 
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the full technology stack 
• Implement client-side functionality with JavaScript and jQuery (and legacy front-end frameworks as needed) 
• Collaborate with product owners and DevOps teams to ensure seamless releases 
• Analyze and optimize application and query performance for scale and reliability 
• Produce clear technical documentation and participate in code reviews 
• Required Qualifications 
• VB.NET: 3+ years of hands-on experience 
• ASP.NET WebForms: 3+ years building and maintaining WebForms applications 
• SQL Server: 3+ years; good at writing and tuning stored procedures, functions, triggers, and complex queries 
• JavaScript: Strong proficiency, including DOM manipulation and AJAX patterns 
• Proficient with Visual Studio (3+ years) and GIT source control 
• Solid problem-solving and analytical skills; able to dive into legacy code and refactor as needed 
• Excellent verbal and written communication; experience collaborating in cross-functional teams 
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and shift priorities on short notice 

Preferred Skills & Nice-to-Haves 

• Experience with any front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, AngularJS, React) 
• Background in performance profiling and load testing 
• Exposure to CI/CD tooling and automated deployment pipelines 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field 
• Previous experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment
