Cloud/Devops Engineer

The key thing for this role is that we need someone who is genuinelyhands-on and comfortable getting into the detail of both theLLD and the actual Azure build, rather than someone operating mainly at architecture/governance level.

Key skills / experience required

• Strong hands-onMicrosoft Azure engineering experience
• StrongTerraform / Infrastructure as Code capability
• Good experience building and supportingAzure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Experience withAzure Front Door, ideally Premium
• Experience withAzure Container Apps
• Strong Azure networking knowledge, including:
  • VNets / subnets
  • routing
  • ingress / egress
  • firewall integration
  • private connectivity
• Experience withAzure Firewall and secure network design
• Strong understanding of:
  • Managed Identities
  • Azure Key Vault
  • RBAC
  • secrets / certificate management
• Experience withAzure SQL connectivity and platform integration
• Monitoring / observability experience using Azure-native tooling
• Comfortable designing for:
  • resilience
  • failover
  • high availability
  • recovery
  • secure production operation
• Able to produce and contribute to a detailedLow Level Design
• Able to translate an HLD into:
  • technical work packages
  • build sequence
  • dependencies
  • estimates
  • implementation tasks
