Essential Functions
- Provide a high level of expertise in maintaining the facilities critical electrical equipment. (I.e. emergency generator, high and low voltage panel board networking systems).
- Analyze project electrical needs and determine design.
- Maintain hand and power tools in working order.
- Carry out preventative maintenance program on a wide variety of complex electrical equipment.
- Layout and install power circuits in operational sequence, and make all required electrical calculations, such as kilowatt draw and power circuit phase.
- Maintain automatic controls, switchboard distribution centers, lighting circuits and flood lights.
- Troubleshoot, tear down, disassemble, rewire, adjust, repair and replace electrical apparatus.
- Make standard computation relation to load requirements of wiring and electrical equipment.
- Respond to all types of electric emergencies.
- Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions.
- Maintain work area in a clean and safe condition. Comply with CWS and OSHA Policies and Regulations.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Ensures assigned work tasks meet quality standards.
- Promotes the development of quality improvements through the initiation of process improvements.
Requirements
- High School / Technical School Diploma / Military Trained Electrician
- Electrician License from local jurisdiction
- Must be well versed in the electrical codes and theory
- Minimum of five years working as an electrician
- Computer aptitude working with CMMS and BMS computerized systems
- Ability to read schematics, job instructions, and general correspondence
- Candidates must be able to successfully pass a background check, including criminal history.

REQUIRED PHYSICAL ABILITIES
Electrical work by its nature requires physical abilities to include lifting up to 50 lbs regularly. Full dexterity is required including bending, kneeling, twisting, fine motor skills with hands and fingers, full rotation of the head and neck. Ability to see, hear and be alert while operating equipment. Ability to operate lift equipment at heights of up to 45 feet and perform work safely utilizing extension and step ladders.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The minimum compensation for the position is $31.50
