Introduction

AsaSeniorMemberofTechnicalStaffwithinourIPEngineeringorganization at GF,youwillplayakeyroleinthedevelopmentanddeliveryofhigh-performancecomputeIPsolutions.This position combines deep technical expertise with engineering leadership. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations, driving technical execution, mentoring engineers, and ensuringthesuccessfuldeliveryofcomplexIPdevelopmentprograms.Theroleofferstheopportunitytoinfluenceproductdirection,engineeringmethodologies,andorganizationalcapabilitywhilecontributingtocutting-edgesemiconductortechnologies.

YourJob

Inthisrole,youwill:

• LeadthedevelopmentanddeliveryofadvancedprocessorandcomputeIPsolutions,ensuringhigh-qualityexecutionandsignoffreadiness.

• Providetechnicalleadershipacrossarchitecture,design,verification,implementation,andproductdeliveryactivitieswhiledrivingengineeringexcellenceandexecutiondiscipline.

• Defineandreviewtechnicalstrategies,developmentplans,specifications,methodologies,andqualityprocessestosupportefficientprojectexecution.

• Collaboratewithglobalcross-functionalteams,customers,andstakeholderstosupporttechnologyroadmaps,productdevelopment,andbusinessobjectives.

• Mentorengineers,drivetechnicalgrowthwithintheorganization,andcontributetobuildingahigh-performing,collaborativeengineeringculture.

RequiredQualifications

• Master'sdegreeinElectricalEngineering,ComputerEngineering,ComputerScience,orarelatedtechnicaldiscipline.

• Minimum10yearsofexperienceindigitalIC/IPdevelopment,design,verification,implementation,ortechnicalprojectleadership.

• Strongunderstandingofprocessor,memory,andsystemarchitectures.

• Provenexpertiseindigitaldesignandverificationmethodologies,includingRTLdevelopment,simulation,formalverification,andsignoffprocesses.

• ProficiencywithSystemVerilog,Verilog,andmodernsemiconductordevelopmentenvironmentsandEDAtoolflows.

• Stronganalytical,problem-solving,anddecision-makingskillswiththeabilitytomanagetechnicalcomplexityandrisk.

• Excellentcommunication,stakeholdermanagement,andtechnicalleadershipcapabilitiesinaglobalengineeringenvironment.

• Demonstratedabilitytomentor,coach,andinfluenceengineersandtechnicalteams.

PreferredQualifications

• Experienceleadinglarge-scaleormulti-siteengineeringprojectsandteams.

• Deepexpertiseinoneormoreareassuchasprocessormicroarchitecture,RTLdesign,functionalverification,formalverification,orSoC/IPintegration.

• ProgrammingandscriptingexperienceusingPython,C/C++,orsimilarlanguages.

• Experiencedrivingmethodologyimprovements,automationinitiatives,andengineeringbestpractices.

• Customer-facingexperienceandparticipationintechnicalroadmapdiscussionsareadvantageous.
