Senior Finance EPM Analyst

The role of SeniorFinanceSystems Analyst isresponsible for maintaining anddeveloping theGroup'sconsolidatedreporting system (Oracle EPM), workingwithFinance teams across theGroup as well as the IT Department. The Senior Analystwill ensure that currentreportingrequirements continue to be met andwill beresponsible forincrementaldevelopment work. The rolewill alsosupport thereporting teams introubleshooting issues encountered during monthly, quarterly and annualreporting cycles andwill act as a subject matter resource, providing training where required.

The successful candidatewill also play aninstrumental role in Flutter'sFinance Systemtransformation project about to commence, whichwill involve migrating the current on-premise Planning solution to Oracle EPM Cloud as well as expanding it to includeadditionalConsolidation, Tax, AccountReconciliation modules.

Responsibilities include:

• Financeconsolidation systemadministration, planning andsupportingimplementingincremental changeinitiatives.
• Develop acomprehensiveunderstanding of thesystems, relatedarchitecture andprocesses directly involvingFinance across theGroup including inputs and outputs to theprocesses.
• Masterdatamanagement anddevelopment and maintenance of reports and related input forms, including updates required for annual IFRS disclosures andregulatoryreporting.
• Providingsupport toFinance usercommunity andtroubleshooting issues
• Engagewith relevant projects to ensure business readiness and smooth handover from project tobusiness-as-usual.
• Liaisewith theFinance teams across theGroup toidentify and designincremental systemimprovements critical todeveloping theprocesses owned by or involvingGroup and localFinance teams.
• Preparation and maintenance of cleardocumentation of relevantprocesses, procedures andcontrol
• Develop excellent workingrelationships across theGroup to ensure quality service to internal customers.

The successful candidatewill have:

• Proactivity andinnovation -capacity to take theinitiative toidentifyimprovements inprocesses and assistmanagement inimplementation
• Provenexperience indevelopment andimplementation of processimprovement in a similarenvironment, anyexperience intransitioning to Oracle EPM Cloud solution an advantage.
• Qualified accountantwithexperience in financial accounting,reporting andconsolidation highlydesirable.
• Considerableexperience of working within an accountingenvironment includingdevelopment of financialreportingsystems, procedures andcontrols. Highly numerate andanalytical,withability to interpret and presentdata clearly.
• Have excellent PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)with a strongappreciation of general ledger andconsolidationsystems, Inparticular advanced Excel and a goodunderstanding of databases,data uploads, extraction, and interfaceswith othersystems.
• Experiencewithrelational &multidimensional databases
• Experiencewith EPMSystems (Hyperion/Onestream/Anaplan/Adaptive Insight/IBM Cognos/SAP BPC)implementation andsupport
• Goodunderstanding ofdatawarehousing, ETL, Business Intelligence,Analytics, BigDataprinciples andDataVisualization
• Advanced knowledge of ETL tools (e.g. ODI,InformaticaPowerCenter, SSIS, DataStage etc.); Expertise in process design,improvement andautomation.
