Welder Piping TIG/MAG

At the largest pipe fabrication facility in the Netherlands,IHC Piping prefabricates all ship and hydraulic piping required to keep our vessels operational, and we also perform work for external customers. In addition to maritime and hydraulic piping, we manufacture double‑walled piping for hydrogen systems. We work with both ferrous and non‑ferrous materials.

For our production facility inSliedrecht, we are looking for experienced and motivatedpipe welders to strengthen our team. The work involves mainlyTIG welding, with someMAG welding as well. You will work with a wide range of materials, such as carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, CuNiFer, and more.

As a piping welder, you are responsible for welding all (ship) piping produced in the shop according to specifications. You will work in a team of around six welders, supervised by a team leader. Together with pipe fitters, machine operators and logistics staff, you form the production department of IHC Piping.

What will you do?

As aPipe Welder, you are responsible for welding (ship) piping according to specifications within our pipe shop.

Your main tasks include:

• Performing primarilyTIG welding (steel), supplemented with MIG/MAG welding
• Working with various materials such ascarbon steel, stainless steel, cunifer, duplex and super duplex (mainly TIG)
• Welding different types of joints, such assocket, flange, branch, butt and sleeve connections
• Working in a team of approximately six welders, supervised by a supervisor
• Collaborating closely with pipe fitters, operators, and logistics colleagues within production

What do you bring?

• MBO level 3 diploma (or equivalent technical education)
• Proven experience as apipe welder
• Experience withTIG (steel) and MIG/MAG welding
• Valid welding certificates (please upload or include with your application)
• Preferably6G certified
• A validVCA certificate
• Good command ofDutch and/or English
• Based in the Netherlands

You have valid certifications in one or more of the following areas:

• TIG (141) – Stainless steel / Carbon steel (ISO 9606-1)
• TIG (141) – CuNiFer (ISO 9606-3)
• MAG (135/136/138) – Carbon steel (ISO 9606-1)
