About the Role

As aJava Application Developer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable web applications usingJava and Spring Boot, working across both backend services and frontend components. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions that support business needs.

The role involves developingRESTful APIs, integrating frontend applications built withReact, and ensuring performance, security, and maintainability across the application stack. You will contribute to code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously improve existing systems.

This position is suited for a developer who is comfortable working in amicroservices environment, values clean code and best practices, and enjoys collaborating within an agile, cross-functional team.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Spring Boot

• Build responsive and user-friendly UI components using React

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance

• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

What We’re Looking For

• 3-5 years’ experience inJava (Java version 8+)

• Hands-on experience withSpring Boot (REST APIs, Spring MVC, Spring Security)

• Solid understanding ofmicroservices architecture

• Experience withReact.js (functional components, hooks, state management)

• Proficiency inHTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+)

• Experience integratingfrontend React apps with backend APIs

• Knowledge ofRESTful web services andJSON

• Experience withSQL / NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)

• Familiarity withORM frameworks like Hibernate/JPA

• Experience withGit and version control workflows

• Understanding ofCI/CD pipelines and build tools (Maven/Gradle)

Nice to Have

• Experience withDocker andKubernetes

• Knowledge ofAWS / Azure / GCP

• Familiarity withRedux,Context API, or other state management tools

• Experience withunit testing (JUnit, Mockito, Jest)

• Knowledge ofAgile/Scrum development practices
