Role Overview 

• We are looking for a motivated Business Development Intern to join ourMadrid team and gain real hands-on experience in an international and fast-moving environment.  

• This role is about research,synthesis and collaboration. You will be gathering and integrating information from multiple sources- markets, clients, geographies, funding instruments — and turning it into clear, useful outputs that support our Business Development team. You will also work closely with colleagues across different departments and will need to build good working relationships to get things done. 

• We are looking for someone curious,well-organised and communicative- someone who enjoys digging into a topic, making sense of it, and presenting it clearly.Previous professional experience is not essential. We are looking for potential,motivation and a willingness to learn. 

Key Responsibilities 

• 
  Research and information synthesis: gather,organise and integrate information on markets, geographies, clients, fundingprogrammes and project opportunities from a wide range of sources; produce clear summaries,briefings and reports.
  
• 
  Opportunity tracking: support the identification, evaluation and follow-up of business opportunities, tenders and potential clients across different regions and sectors.
  
• 
  Document and material preparation: prepare andorganise materials for internal and external meetings, including presentations,programme documents, marketnotes and country profiles.
  
• 
  CRM and data management: support the team in keeping business development records, contact databases and opportunity pipelines up to date.
  
•

  Cross-team collaboration: work with colleagues from different departments — technical, commercial, institutional — to gather input and build cooperative working relationships.

  Provide support on ad hoc Business Development projects depending on team priorities.
  

What We Are Looking For 

Essential 

• 
  Currently in the final year of aBachelor's or Master's degree, or recently graduated, ina relevant field — International Business, Business Administration, Economics, International Relations, Political Science, Geography, Engineering or another analytical discipline.
  
• 
  Fluent in both English and Spanish, written and spoken.
  
• 
  Strong research skills: comfortable finding,reading and integrating information from multiple sources and producing clear written outputs.
  
• 
  Organised, structured anddetail-oriented.
  
• 
  Proactive,curious and eager to learn.
  
• 
  Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  
• 
  Good communication and interpersonal skills — and ability to work cooperatively with colleagues across teams.
  
• 
  Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.
  
•
