The role

As a **NPD Specialist,** you will lead the end-to-end journey of new product development — from concept ideation to market launch. You will collaborate closely with R&D, marketing, regulatory, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality, effective, and compliant skincare products..**Key Responsibilities*** **Product Conceptualisation -** Develop and refine innovative skincare product concepts based on market trends, consumer insights, and brand strategy.* **Project Management -** Own and drive the NPD lifecycle, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are achieved.* **Cross-Functional Collaboration -** Work closely with different teams including packaging, procurement, regulatory, marketing, and operations teams to take products from concept to shelf.* **Ingredient & Formulation Development -** Identify key actives, evaluate prototypes, and refine formulations for performance, stability, and safety. Coordinate with derma-focused manufacturers and vendors.* **Consumer Testing & Validation -** Oversee sensory testing, trials, and consumer feedback loops to validate product-market fit.* **Regulatory & Compliance -** Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (BIS, FDA, EU, etc.), including claims, labelling, and documentation.* **Budget & Resource Management -** Monitor NPD budgets and manage resources efficiently.**Qualifications*** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in **Cosmetology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field*** 3–5 years of experience in NPD within skincare / personal care / cosmeceuticals* Proven track record of successfully launching skincare products* Strong understanding of formulation science and regulatory compliance* Experience working with manufacturers in the derma space (preferred)* Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills* Strong awareness of beauty industry trends and ingredient innovation
