# **About Tandem**Office leasing is one of the last professional services that still runs almost entirely on manual effort — brokers, phone calls, spreadsheets, and gut instinct.**We've used software and AI to transform a process that used to take months into one that takes weeks**: matching companies to spaces faster, surfacing better options earlier, and guiding teams through every step of a lease.We're not just building a better brokerage. We're figuring out what a services business looks like when AI does most of the work — and what still requires a human in the room.We've helped more than 250 companies find and sign offices, and we’re just getting started.# **The Role**You'll be client-facing every day — running discovery calls, touring spaces with founders and operators, helping companies work through offers and make decisions. That's the job.But this role is also a product role. Every interaction you have is a data point: _where does our AI handle things well? Where does a human conversation change the outcome? What parts of the leasing process still require judgment, trust, or presence that no system can replicate yet?_You'll be one of the people answering those questions in real time, and feeding that back into how we build. The best version of this role isn't someone who executes a process, it's someone who helps us figure out what the process _should_ be.**Expect a significant percentage of your time to be in-person across San Francisco, touring spaces, meeting clients, building relationships.**# **What We're Looking For*** You've been in a client-facing role that required real judgment: consulting, expert networks, advisory, or client services. You know how to earn trust quickly and guide someone to a decision.* You're curious about how AI is changing professional services and want to be inside that problem, not watching it from the outside.* Strong communicator: you can run a sharp discovery call with a first-time founder and a seasoned CFO on the same afternoon.* High judgment, low ego. Early-stage means the scope of your job will change.
