The role

Hi, my name is Gabriel and I'm the founder of Y/n.Y/n is an app where you can create, share, and play interactive stories. Today, 100K+ teenagers spend 3+ hours a day in the app playing characters in text stories of their own making.A few facts about why you should join Y/n:* We launched 8 months ago and are already one of the top books apps in the world (reached #4 app in the App Store this month).* We serve \~2T tokens (\~200M user messages, growing 40% MoM) per month with a team of 3.* We raised $14M from top VCs.* My co-founder Eric is a technical genius. He trained the first-ever image editing AI in the world. Before Y/n, I was the founding designer at Substack.We're looking for a founding full-stack engineer to own most of the app surface and our personalized recommendations infrastructure. This is a role with a lot of ownership across the product!What we expect from you:* You’ve built actual infrastructure (not just pushed to Vercel).* You’ve worked at a startup or built meaningful side projects.* You’re into fandom, reading, and fanfiction!* You're based in (or willing to relocate to) San Francisco.Hollywood authored the dominant stories of the last century.
