The role

We are looking for a **Founding Engineer** to join our core product team at Snazzy. This is not a standard job — you’ll be one of only two engineers working directly with the founders to shape, architect, and scale a high-impact product from the ground up.If you’re looking for a stable 9-to-5 or large-team environment, this won’t be the right fit. Apply only if you’re deeply motivated by building in a **small team, high ownership, high impact environment** where your code will directly define the product and the company’s trajectory.**What You’ll Do*** Architect, build, and ship end-to-end features across backend (Golang, PostgreSQL, GCP) and frontend (ReactJS).* Own critical systems: from designing data models to optimizing user experience.* Take full responsibility for performance, security, and scalability of our applications.* Collaborate closely with founders to turn product vision into working software.* Wear multiple hats — from DevOps to debugging — until the team scales.**What We’re Looking For*** **1–5 years** of professional full stack engineering experience.* Strong skills in **ReactJS, Golang, PostgreSQL, and GCP** (our core stack).* Someone who thrives in **high-ownership, low-structure environments**.* Bias toward action: you prefer building and iterating quickly over endless discussion.* A builder’s mindset — you care about product impact, not just clean code.* Comfort with ambiguity and ability to work independently with minimal handholding.**Nice to Have*** Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices.* Prior exposure to early-stage startups or building 0 → 1 products.**Why Join Us*** Be part of the **earliest core team** — your work will define the product and company.* Small team = huge ownership, visibility, and impact.* Opportunity to work closely with experienced founders.* Competitive compensation + potential for future leadership role as the team scales.
