The role

**AI Researcher** At **Arnata**, we’re building the world’s first AI workforce for logistics—agents that negotiate freight, coordinate dispatch, track shipments, and manage complex workflows across phone, email, and software systems. Our mission: make logistics teams 100x more productive. We’re looking for an exceptional **AI Research Scientist** to push the frontier of agent intelligence—reasoning, real-world tool use, negotiation, and multi-modal communication. This role is for someone who wants to shape the next generation of applied AI, not just publish papers. **What You'll Do** * Build and fine-tune multi-agent systems capable of dynamic reasoning and decision-making * Research and prototype novel approaches to planning, voice and text negotiation, and real-time problem-solving * Integrate with real-world systems: email, telephony, TMS platforms, APIs * Ship research—into production—with real customer impact across trucking, brokerage, and global supply chains * Collaborate with a small, elite team of engineers, product thinkers, and operators **Who You Are** * Proven experience doing applied AI research **inside a product-driven company** (e.g., OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Meta, etc. or startups) * PhD or equivalent experience in AI, ML, NLP, or a related field * Experience with LLMs, reasoning engines, planning, agent architectures, or autonomous systems * You care about impact—not just benchmarks * You move fast, think clearly, and want to own the AI brain behind a global system **Why Arnata** * Backed by top investors, real revenue from real-world customers, hyper-growth * Work directly with the founder and CEO (PhD in Transportation Engineering) * Build foundational AI agents in a trillion-dollar industry * Equity and ownership in what could be the defining AI company in logistics **If you’re obsessed with the intersection of intelligence and execution—join us.** Email your work, papers, or GitHub to georgy at arnata DOT com .
