The founding team are Stanford CS and Berkeley grads including the CTO of Doctor on Demand who have helped their teams raise $240m and process millions of video calls. The team is looking for founding engineers who can help architect a high-performing system that can process financial transactions and give transparency to patients and providers. We hold a sprint planning meeting every week, and try to iterate quickly but sensibly. Many of our deliverables are just design docs in Notion where we have multiple user stories, and solicit feedback. Currently we mostly use Javacript/React for our UI and Python for our backend, though we're always open to newer technologies. We ship dozens of times per day with robust CI/CD per day. We're actively hiring for full-stack engineers across the stack who want to learn about the latest fintech, and database and infra experience, along with some of experienced, well-networked engineers.

The role

We've raised from well-known investors including the creator of Gmail Paul, Buchheit and the founders of Gusto, Pilot, and the Head of Innovation at Stanford Hospital. One of our applications is medical billing which is a pain for both doctors and patients, and we're hoping to improve the experience so people can spend their time improving their health versus filling out paperwork; no wonder it's a $50B market. The founders of Apero are both Stanford and MIT CS grads and include the former CTO of Dr on Demand (now Included Health) having raised $240m. We're looking for engineers who can help us architect a high-performing system that can handle thousands of medical claims per day and give transparency to patients and providers. We love folks who have experience in building building beautiful UI and performant, resilient, web applications and have experience with React, Javascript, or Python but no language is a hard and fast requirement. Major plus: Github profile with some projects you're excited to share. We're looking for engineers who can help us architect a high-performing system that can handle hundreds of thousands of medical claims per day and give transparency to patients and providers.
