Autonomous patrol-boats for National Security

The role

* **Vessel Operations & Maintenance** * Safely pilot single/twin-outboard boats (up to 30 ft) for deployments, test missions, and routine transport * Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical and electrical issues * Oversee fueling, docking, anchoring, and vessel cleaning* **Logistics & Coordination** * Plan and execute transportation of equipment, including hauling trailers, towing vessels, and arranging freight/shipping * Coordinate with marinas, customs, freight carriers, and service vendors * Track inventory of spare parts, safety gear, and operational supplies* **Safety & Compliance** * Maintain vessel and personnel logs; conduct safety drills and enforce all USCG regulations * Ensure all certificates, licenses, and insurance policies are current and filed appropriately* **Cross-Functional Support** * Assist engineering teams with deploying and recovering maritime robotics prototypes * Provide on-site logistical support during field tests and demonstrations * Serve as the primary point of contact for outside contractors and port authorities
