The role

VectorShift is hiring a Business Operations Manager to help us scale how we serve customers and run the company.This is a highly cross-functional, outward-facing role. You’ll work directly with customers and client-facing teams, spot opportunities to improve how we operate, and lead projects that make our product and business more effective. You’ll be equally comfortable in a customer conversation, a working session with product and engineering, and a spreadsheet.## What you’ll do* Partner directly with customers to understand their goals, surface friction, and improve their experience with VectorShift.* Work closely with sales, customer success, product, and engineering to solve operational problems that affect customers.* Lead initiatives across onboarding, customer workflows, account operations, and go-to-market processes.* Turn customer feedback and business data into clear recommendations and practical next steps.* Build scalable systems, processes, and reporting as the company grows.* Help identify and launch AI-enabled workflows that improve customer outcomes or internal operations.* Own projects end-to-end, from defining the problem through rollout and measurement.## What we’re looking for* Typically 2–7 years of professional experience after graduation.* Experience in a customer-facing, commercial, operations, consulting, banking, private equity, or startup environment.* Someone who enjoys working with customers and wants a role with meaningful external exposure.* Strong judgment, organization, and follow-through in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.* Comfortable using data and spreadsheets to understand problems and make decisions.* Clear, confident communicator who can work with customers and senior internal stakeholders.* Experience leading or contributing to AI or AI-enabled initiatives is a strong plus.## Nice to have* Experience working with enterprise customers.* Experience in a high-growth startup.* Background in investment banking, private equity, consulting, customer success, sales operations, or business operations.* Familiarity with AI products, workflow automation, or enterprise software.## Why VectorShiftYou’ll have a direct hand in shaping the customer experience and the way VectorShift grows.
