About Manicule
AgentRel — Devrel For Agents
Tech
Stack: TypeScript top to bottom. Next.js 16 + React 19 on the front, Hono + Postgres + Drizzle on the back, all on Vercel. Vercel AI SDK + Claude, durable agent workflows running in sandboxes, and our own eval harness for measuring whether the writing is actually any good. Bun, Turborepo, Biome, Vitest, Playwright. Composio wires the agents into GitHub, Slack, Linear, X, and more.
The role
Manicule is hiring 2-3 freelance technical writers to write for some of SF’s fastest-growing developer-tool companies.(remote from anywhere in the world)Ideally, you have an engineering background in the topics you write about. If you’re covering databases, agents, infrastructure, or security, you should understand the product well enough to build with it and have a real opinion.I’m especially looking for people who won’t write slop. The work should sound like it comes from someone who used the product, understood the problem, and has something useful to say. You’ll interview founders and engineers, test products, and write technical articles developers actually want to read.To apply, send exactly one link to the best article you’ve written and why you think it’s great. Choose the one that best shows **your first-person** voice, technical depth, and high bar for content (and especially doesn’t sound like slop). No resume. No portfolio. Just one link.To apply, please email me. naman \[at\] manicule.dev**Pay:** $200 - $300/article (can negotiate)Over time, happy to convert to full-time as well!
