Imagine a security business with 60 workers. Each day, workers need to clock in and out, take breaks, and verify their location while on duty. Managers must create schedules, ensure part-time workers are available and assigned on time, and confirm that clients see workers showing up as expected. It’s a very admin-intensive process. We use AI to automate this entire workflow — from scheduling and availability management to real-time attendance tracking. The system calls workers when they’re late, finds shift replacements if someone can’t make it, and automatically manages the team, all the way to running payroll on the platform so all employees are paid through the Sira mobile app. AI is best positioned to help these businesses that have little time and deal with heavy administrative overhead.

The role

# **About Sira****80% of the workforce doesn't sit at a desk. Their software is a spreadsheet from 2019.** Most deskless teams still run on a patchwork of ADP, Connecteam, QuickBooks, and a spreadsheet nobody fully trusts.**Sira replaces that stack with a single platform for scheduling, timesheets, payroll, HR, and invoicing.**We began with security guard companies — teams of 50–300 officers, operating 24/7, where payroll needs to be correct to the minute — and are expanding across the deskless economy.We're a **Y Combinator (S25)** company with real revenue and established customers.# **The Role**As a **Founding Engineer**, you'll own entire product surfaces end to end — from the initial customer conversation through design, architecture, implementation, and release.You'll work directly with the customers who depend on what you build and see your work in production within the same week.As one of our earliest engineers, you'll help shape both the product and engineering culture at Sira.
