Accounting Associate

A boutique advisory firm in Malta is looking for a motivatedAccounting Associate to join their growing team. The right candidate will support the team with day-to-day client bookkeeping and accounting tasks. This role will help the company manage client requests more efficiently and stay on top of deadlines.

This is an office-based role, with the option to negotiate hybrid or flexible hours, and a salary of up to €39K.

Role & Responsibilities

• Assist with client bookkeeping and general accounting

• Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams

• Communicate with clients and handle requests

• Support the preparation of management accounts and accounting files for audit

• Assist with the preparation and submission of client VAT returns and Recap Declarations

• Support the preparation of payroll documents

Skills & Experience

• Minimum of O'Level in Accounting (MQF Level 3) or currently in the initial stages of ACCA

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English

• Able to work independently and within a team

• Proficient in MS 365 Office tools

• Experience in a similar role is a plus
