Accounting Senior

Boutique business advisory firm based in Malta urgently needs anAccounting Senior to join their team and help support and mentor the more junior team members.

Salary up to€36k depending on experience

Role & Responsibilities

• Liaising with clients and handling various requests in a timely manner
• Provide supervision and coaching of junior accountants, including review of their deliverables
• Planning deliverables of client portfolio, can work on own initiative, prioritize own work and meet deadlines
• Report to management with portfolio updates and assist in monitoring team economics
• Preparation of accountancy files for audit and liaising with client auditors
• Preparation of management accounts in accordance with relevant accounting frameworks
• Assistance with presenting management accounts to clients
• Preparation and submission of clients’ VAT Returns and Recap Declarations

Skills & Experience

• Candidates must be a qualified accountant
• Experience working as an accountant in Malta
• Familiarity with payroll processes will be considered an asset
• Foundational knowledge of VAT regulations is required
• Applicants must have an excellent command of the English language (both written
• and verbal)
