Junior Java Developer (Managed Services)

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Java Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications while learning best practices in software development and contributing to team projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Java applications
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and debugging activities
• Collaborate with senior developers, QA teams, and stakeholders
• Support application testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Learn and apply new technologies, tools, and frameworks

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Basic knowledge ofJava programming
• Familiarity withobject-oriented programming (OOP) concepts
• Understanding ofSQL and relational databases
• Knowledge ofHTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with frameworks likeSpring Boot orHibernate
• Familiarity withRESTful APIs
• Exposure toGit or version control systems
• Basic understanding ofAgile/Scrum methodologies
