The Opportunity:
Join a growing, people-focused team as a Workplace Experience Coordinator, where you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming, connected and positive workplace culture. You’ll coordinate events, employee experiences, onboarding, recognition initiatives and internal communications, while supporting the wider People & Culture team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is organised, proactive and genuinely enjoys bringing people together and making the workplace a great place to be. For the right candidate, there is flexibility to consider a part-time arrangement.Â

Key Responsibilities:
Events and Culture
- Build and maintain an events calendar covering team lunches, celebrations, town halls, all-hands, and wellbeing activities, with hybrid and remote-friendly formats
- Coordinate awareness events such as Pride Month, Movember, and R U OK? Day, including promotion and participation tracking
- Support employee groups and interest communities with scheduling, budget, and communications
- Back up for Office Manager when she is on leave
- Answering admin phone calls and greeting visitors
Recognition and Employee Moments
- Organise flowers and gifts for milestones such as a new baby or illness
- Purchase and distribute gift cards for staff awards and end-of-year gifts
- Maintain a simple record of recognition given, so it is consistent and fair across teams
Onboarding and Social Connection
- Coordinate with HR, IT, and finance so joiner tasks are completed before day one
- Plan team socials that include remote and hybrid staff
Internal Communications
- Share culture and events updates through Slack/Teams and newsletters
- Keep the events calendar visible and current for all staff
People Team Support
- Support ad hoc projects across the office and People functions
- Provide general People admin support as agreed with the Director People & Culture
- Gather feedback after events and onboarding, and summarise themes for the People team
Safety Training and Readiness (tracking only)
- Track training and certification expiry for First Aid Officers, Fire Wardens, and Mental Health First Aiders
- Maintain the contact list for each role and keep it current as people join or leave
- Schedule fire and evacuation drills with the Office Manager and building management

- Previous experience in similar position or happy to learn
