Join the Workforce Planning - Stores team as a Workforce Planning Co-ordinator, based at Nottingham Support Office. This 6-month secondment supports the salary and workload model for Boots UK and ROI stores, combining inbox and workload coordination with data analysis.
What you’ll be doing
The Workforce Planning Co-ordinator sits within the Workforce Planning - Stores team and works closely with Workforce Planning Analysts and team leadership. The role assists the team to maintain, develop and support the workload model used across Boots UK and ROI stores.In this role, you will:
- Support the planning, modelling and allocation of workload and payroll budgets across the Boots UK and ROI store network.Â
- Coordinate and prioritise workload across the Workforce Planning team, ensuring requests, activities and deliverables are managed effectively to support business priorities.
- Work closely with Workforce Planning Analysts to maintain the integrity, accuracy and quality of the Allocation of Colleague Investment (ACI) model, ensuring robust validation is completed throughout each planning cycle.
- Create reports, insights and analysis from workforce planning data to support the Workforce Planning Manager and business stakeholders.
- Support the development of business cases, workforce scenarios and salary modelling activity to evaluate potential payroll savings and investment opportunities.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that enhance the accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness of ACI processes and tools.
- Support the ongoing maintenance, enhancement and administration of workforce planning tools and databases used across the store estate
What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including using formulas and checking large data sets for accuracy.
- Experience organising competing tasks, setting priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to investigate data or process issues, identify the cause and explain the outcome clearly.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including responding to queries from different stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a consistent approach to checking work before it is shared.
- Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of day-to-day coordination tasks.
- Willingness to learn workforce planning models, TM1 databases and the Boots UK and ROI store structure.
It would be great if you also have
- Experience in workforce planning, budgeting, payroll modelling or retail operations.
- Knowledge of TM1 or IBM Planning Analytics, including basic database maintenance or data extraction.
- Understanding of Boots store structures, roles or the ACI model.
- Experience creating reports or analysis that turns detailed data into clear recommendations.Â
- Experience improving an administrative, reporting or data process.
