POSITION SUMMARY:
The team works on owning the design, development, and delivery of the Systems, integrations, custom applications, and AI solutions that the entire People function depends on. The company is hiring a Workday Time & Absence Analyst to support M&A integration work across multiple international acquired populations. You will gather statutory and company absence requirements with HR, Payroll, and local People partners, then design and configure Time Off Plans, Leave of Absence Types, eligibility rules, accrual methods, and balance periods aligned to global naming and security standards. You will own the build end to end — Sandbox configuration and unit testing, UAT defect resolution, balance load reconciliation against legacy data, production migration sequencing, hypercare, and documented handoff to the PTECH Workday Functional team.
This role requires a minimum of three years of hands-on Workday Absence configuration, proven multi-country statutory builds, and a working understanding of absence-to-payroll interaction in a global tenant. Experience with M&A or acquired populations, and with EMEA statutory leave regimes in particular, is strongly preferred.

The company is seeking a Workday Time & Absence Consultant to support the design, configuration, and optimization of our Time Tracking and Absence solutions for M&A companies. This role partners closely with internal HR, Payroll, and People Technology stakeholders to ensure our Workday configuration reflects evolving policies and scales with the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support implementation of new plans worldwide projects for Workday Absence and Time Tracking
- Partner with HR and Payroll teams to gather requirements and translate them into system configuration
- Configure time off/absence plans, accrual rules, time tracking rules and validations, work schedules/calendars, time entry, approvals, and exceptions
- Support testing, UAT, and go-live readiness for configuration changes
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Absence and Time Tracking configuration
- Guide Workday releases and new feature adoption
- Support reporting and audit needs tied to Time & Absence
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3–5 years of hands-on Workday Absence and Time Tracking experience
- Workday certification in Absence and/or Time Tracking preferred
- Strong understanding of global time tracking rules and leave/absence policy design
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, and IT partners
- Experience with complex accrual rules and time tracking integrations (payroll, scheduling) and scheduling is a plus
