Job Description
- 5+ years of overall experience in Finance systems with strong exposure to Workday Financial Management.
- Hands-on experience in Workday R2R (Record-to-Report) processes.
- Configure, implement, and support Workday Financial Management solutions with a primary focus on Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
- Strong expertise in General Ledger (GL), Workday Accounting Center, Financial Accounting and Reporting Journal Processing and Period-End Close
- Manage and optimize General Ledger (GL) configurations, accounting structures, journals, ledgers, and financial reporting.
- Design, configure, and maintain Workday Accounting Center integrations and accounting rules.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday Finance solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying, analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and production support.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex functional and data-related issues.
- Support period-end and year-end close activities and ensure financial data integrity.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting using SQL.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting stakeholders to improve financial processes and controls.
- Support system enhancements, testing, releases, and production issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain functional and technical documentation.
- Work closely with integration teams to ensure seamless data flow between Workday and external systems.
