Work Experience Trainee-Events l Youth

Learn event support from the ground up!

TheEvent Work Experience Trainee position offers participants the opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting community events, activities, and special programs. You’ll assist with event setup, guest support, and event operations while developing foundational workplace and customer service skills.

What You’ll Learn:

• Event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, canopies, signs, and equipment.
• Guest service, participant check-in, and providing event information.
• Crowd flow, event safety, and maintaining clean and organized event areas.
• Teamwork, communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Event cleanup, supply storage, and proper handling of event materials.

Ideal For:
Individuals interested in gaining experience in event support, community programs, recreation, hospitality, or customer service.

Eligibility:
Must be pre-qualified for a Goodwill SoCal work experience program. This is a temporary work experience opportunity with a predetermined number of training hours.
