Purpose:

This role is required to establish Engineering Excellence: Set coding standards, evaluate new technologies, and ensure performance and scalability. Uplift engineering standards across entire SDLC and also set technical direction required to define architecture, design standards, and guide technical best practice across teams.

Responsible for theleadership ofmultiple engineering scrum teams rotating through domains to plan, deliver and support service features that deliver customer value and/or mature service capability.Responsible for improving performance of teams .

Essential capabilities:

•Responsible for technical direction and identifying innovation solutions. To solve complex and/or large problem, translate vague problems into actionable items.•Responsible for mentorship and coaching in industry best practices across engineering, agile and AI usage for the entire SDLC.•Define the detailed technical roadmap in conjunction with the, Engineering Manager, Domain architect, Security architect, Tech and BA Leads .•Triage new demand and ensures sufficient design guidance exists at high level for hand-off to the scrum tech lead for detailed design.•Set the standard for design and Agile process and distribute development workload across multiple teams .•Engage inhands-on developmentto balance workload or address significant complexity through technical spike: build, system-test including non-functional.•Take part and make decisions on technical solutions .•Present technical problems and/or solutions in business terms, pitch to the executives as well as various senior stakeholders within the company as required.

Experience:

•EstablishEngineering Excellence: Setcoding standards, evaluatenew technologies, and ensureperformance and scalability. Upliftengineering standards across entire SDLC.•Set Technical Direction:Define architecture, design standards, and guide technicalbest practice across teams.•Own Solution Delivery: Lead engineering teams to deliver features and services that meet business and customer needs.•Engage Stakeholders: Communicate complex technical issues clearly to senior leaders and influence cross-functional decisions.•Drive Agile Practices: Shape Agile workflows, triage new demand, and mentor engineers to build high-performing teams.•LeadDevOps & Security Strategy: Make decisions onCI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, andsecurity best practices.•Able todetect and proposemeasures for: Low impact scores, High engagement but low ownership, Overloaded or underutilized engineers, opportunities for rebalancing work

Key Skills and essential capabilities:
•Experience with major cloud technologies (mainly on Azure and AWS) •Hands on experience and design ofEKS andAKS operator solutions supporting multiple asset teams at enterprise scale •Hands on experience withDevSecOps •Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with stakeholders (product owners, engineers executives and other senior stakeholders) •Experience as a technical lead providing mentorship to other technical staff•Interest and experience with theentire application stack; fromnetwork,security, throughplatform OStoapplication code •Hands on coding experience with infrastructure as code, automation and application

Typical Experience:

•15+ yearsTechnologyexperience.•10+ years in application developmentroles.•Technical Domain expertise.•Expertsoftware engineering(JAVA/JavaScript).•Experience insolution designand/orarchitectural decision.
