WMS Quality Engineer (WMS QE)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for Warehouse Management System (WMS) applications.

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of warehouse management workflows.

• Validate Omni-channel (OMNI) processes, including order fulfillment, inventory management, picking, packing, shipping, and returns.

• Test warehouse operations and order lifecycle scenarios across integrated applications and systems.

• Analyze business requirements and functional specifications to identify test scenarios and coverage gaps.

• Identify, document, track, and retest defects while coordinating with development and business teams.

• Perform integration testing across WMS, order management, inventory, and related enterprise systems.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release validation activities.

• Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test execution reports.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure application stability, quality, and readiness for production releases.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or QA.

• Hands-on experience in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) testing.

• Knowledge of Manhattan Active WM or other enterprise WMS platforms.

• Experience testing Omni-channel (OMNI) retail and warehouse workflows.

• Strong understanding of inventory management, order fulfillment, picking, packing, shipping, and returns processes.

• Experience in functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.

• Good understanding of defect management and test lifecycle processes.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work with business and technical stakeholders.
