WMS Project Manager

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced WMS Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation, transformation, upgrade, and integration programs across multiple client engagements.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience managing complex WMS initiatives involving business, functional, technical, integration, infrastructure, and warehouse operations teams. This role requires excellent project governance, stakeholder management, delivery ownership, and a strong understanding of warehouse and supply chain environments.

The Project Manager will work closely with Solution Architects, Technical Architects, functional consultants, client leadership, and global delivery teams to ensure successful execution from planning and design through testing, cutover, go-live, and stabilization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Blue Yonder WMS implementation, upgrade, migration, and transformation projects.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, resource requirements, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate Solution Architects, Technical Architects, functional consultants, developers, integration teams, testing teams, and client stakeholders.
• Manage project scope, budget, risks, issues, assumptions, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committee reviews, status meetings, and executive updates.
• Track project progress against agreed milestones and proactively address delivery risks and dependencies.
• Manage requirements, solution design, development, integration, testing, UAT, data migration, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Coordinate integrations between WMS, ERP, TMS, MHE, warehouse automation, robotics, and other upstream/downstream applications.
• Ensure functional and technical workstreams remain aligned with overall program objectives.
• Partner with warehouse operations and business stakeholders to ensure solutions align with operational processes and business requirements.
• Lead RAID management, including risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
• Manage third-party vendors, implementation partners, and cross-functional delivery teams where applicable.
• Ensure adherence to project governance, quality standards, documentation requirements, and delivery methodologies.
• Oversee testing readiness, defect management, deployment planning, cutover activities, and go-live preparedness.
• Support resource planning and prioritization across multiple workstreams.
• Prepare and present project status, risks, financials, milestones, and recommendations to senior client and internal leadership.
• Drive issue escalation and resolution across business and technology teams.
• Support post-go-live stabilization and transition to support or managed services teams.
• Promote continuous improvement and lessons learned across WMS delivery programs.

• JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools
• PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or similar certification
• Experience managing global WMS rollouts across multiple distribution centers
• Experience working with consulting or system integration organizations

• 8+ years of overall IT / Supply Chain project management experience
• Minimum 4+ years of direct WMS project delivery experience
• Demonstrated experience managing Blue Yonder WMS implementations or transformation programs
• Experience delivering complex projects involving multiple functional and technical workstreams
• Experience managing client-facing projects and senior stakeholders
• Experience coordinating geographically distributed delivery teams
• Proven experience managing projects from initiation through go-live and stabilization
