District Director of Operations

Job Description:

General Function / Summary: 

The District Director of Operations (DDO)is accountable for the daily operationsandachievingkey performance indicators (KPIs)for multiple locations within their assigneddistrict.This role is also responsible for building a high performing team,through therecruitment, selection, onboarding, development, and retentionofstore associates within their assigned district.  

Essential Duties: 

• Ensure excellent service andhigh levels of customer satisfaction within the district. 

• Maintain accountability for sales, profitability,anddebt management for the district. 

• Execute marketing strategies aligned withregion and/or Company strategies. 

• Monitorstore performance progress againstestablishedgoals. 

• Interact with Regional Operations Manager (ROM) on store performance, sales, marketing, operations, staffing, etc. 

• Lead implementation of new products and services. 

• Perform monthly storevisits and audits to include a complete and thorough review of each location within the district to ensure operational, legal, and compliance processes and procedures are being followed. 

• Oversight and facilitation of compliance training, monitoring and remediation.

• Engage with corporate business partners. 

• Execute people leader duties, such as timecard approvals, performance management, timely completion ofrequired training, ensure team metrics and associate career growthobjectives are met. 

• Other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Education and Experience Required: 

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience 

• Prior management of business operations in a multi-unit environment 

• Proficient in MicrosoftOffice programs 

• Excellent time management, organizational skills,written and verbal communication,problem solving, reasoning, and analytical skills 

• Must have own personal reliable transportation in compliance with published policy and procedure; mustmaintain a valid Driver’s License and valid Automobile Insurance while employed by the company  

• Ability and willingness to consistently live and embrace our core values of accountable, inclusive, transparent, and focused 

Physical Demands: 

• Retail/Office environment  

• Extended viewing of computer screens and typing  

• Long periods of sitting or driving  

• Must be able tolift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations  

Travel: 

• Must be able to travel to all stores within the assigned district and to other districts within theregion  

• May be asked to travel tootherlocations 

• Up to 50% travel with overnights expected
