Wire Data Engineer

Job Title: Wire Data Engineer
Location: Fort Worth, TX | Pay: 45 - 70/hr

Responsibilties:

• Develop system requirements, architecture, and interfaces for the aircraft wiring systems to integrate aircraft systems and manage data bus and power requirements.
• Develop aircraft wiring architecture, diagrams and schematics using Mentor Graphics.
• Use Capital Harness Systems (CHS) toolset and release wiring drawings in coordination with aircraft systems engineers and wire routing and installation design engineers.
• Evaluate wiring systems architecture in model-based design environment and architecture tools.
• Support wiring suppliers, aircraft build installation, aircraft testing and operations, and aircraft/system qualification and certification.

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering - or closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience Developing system wiring requirements, architecture, and interfaces for the aircraft wiring systems.
• Direct use of MENTOR GRAPHICS Capital® tools for electrical wiring design (schematic, wiring diagrams, wire harness platform architecture, wire harness engineering, manufacturing formboard and tooling, technical publications).
• Familiarity with military certification and electrical wiring industry standards for aircraft.
• Candidates must be eligible to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience with system development and testing in a systems integration lab preferred.
• Experience with aircraft installation, functional testing, and troubleshooting  Enovia, DOORS, and Serena Dimensions Creation of system architecture and wiring schematics preferred.
