Welding Process Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems to support product introductions, process changes, and capacity improvements.
• Develop and maintain process and machinery specifications, ensuring alignment with product requirements, quality standards, and operational needs.
• Support the introduction of new products and process changes, including equipment selection, layout development, and process validation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including manufacturing, product engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain to ensure successful process implementation.
• Evaluate existing processes and equipment to identify opportunities for efficiency, quality, cost, and safety improvements.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, and qualification activities.
• Apply structured problem‑solving methods to address process performance issues and drive sustainable corrective actions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical, or related discipline).
• 3–7+ years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related industrial environment.
• Demonstrated experience designing or implementing manufacturing processes and production equipment.
• Experience developing and maintaining process or machinery specifications.
• Hands‑on experience supporting production environments, including troubleshooting and process optimization.
