Location: Huntsville, ALPay: $18.00–$19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Additional Schedule: Occasional Saturdays as needed

Position Overview
Vervic is seeking dependable and detail-orientedWeigh Station Operators for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Huntsville, Alabama.
This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable using computers and handling transactions, and takes pride in maintaining accurate records. The Weigh Station Operator serves as a key point of contact for customers and plays an important role in keeping daily operations running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
As a Weigh Station Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Serving as the primary customer service representative at the scale house.
- Operating computerized weighing equipment to accurately record vehicle weights and materials.
- Entering and maintaining accurate information within computerized systems.
- Greeting and assisting drivers and customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Processing payments and providing appropriate receipts and documentation.
- Balancing receipts and transactions at the end of each day.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all required information is properly documented.
- Communicating with drivers, customers, supervisors, and other operational departments as needed.
- Performing routine checks to help ensure equipment and work areas remain safe and operational.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
- Following established safety procedures, policies, and operational guidelines.
- Assisting with additional duties as needed to support daily operations.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1–3 years of customer service, cash-handling, transaction processing, or similar experience required; 5 years preferred.
- Comfortable working with computers, computerized systems, and data entry.
- Ability to accurately handle payments and balance daily transactions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance.
- Ability to problem-solve and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and accuracy.
