Designation: Web Module Lead
Location: Hyderabad_Phoenix
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Developer - Platform/Product to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad_Phoenix. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Mainframe IMS DBA, enabling them to effectively manage and optimize our database systems. This role requires a proactive individual who can contribute to the development and enhancement of our platform and product offerings while ensuring high performance and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust database solutions using Mainframe IMS.
- Implement database management best practices to ensure data integrity, security, and availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Monitor and optimize database performance, conducting regular health checks and tuning as necessary.
- Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.
- Document database architecture, processes, and procedures for future reference.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to database management and development.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Mainframe IMS DBA.
- Proficiency in database design, implementation, and management.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of database systems.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery processes in a Mainframe environment.
- Ability to write complex SQL queries and scripts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other database management systems (DBMS) is a plus.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in database management or related technologies are advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
