About Wholesale Credit
The SBB Credit department in the Bank is a Credit Underwriting department for all the Retail clientele of the Bank. ItĀ is also responsible for ensuring the maintenance of a good portfolio quality and for ensuring smooth credit appraisal processes
AboutĀ theĀ Role
Process audit is a process usedĀ to identify potential problem areas in department which highlighted in Audit reports. Ā It helps the department to improve the efficiency of its business with minimum errors. Timely audit reverts to Audit / complianceĀ departments. Ā 
Key Responsibilities
  • Performs quality assurance reviews; makes recommendations for quality assurance and improvement programs.
  • Participates in risk assessments.
  • Provides guidance to mitigate potential risks or conflict.
  • Informs clients of risk, makes recommendations to resolve risk, and consults with departments on the resolution of recommendations.Ā Researches, executes, and documents compliance reviews.
  • Conducts compliance audits, inspections, reviews, and tests.
  • Reviews protocols for research projects and advises faculty and staff on regulations and policies.
  • Responds to potentially serious compliance issues and violations or consults with management on appropriate responses.
  • Reviews information from investigations to ensure resolutions have been satisfactorily implemented or determines if further action is necessary.
  • End to end monitoring all regulatory schemes.
  • Co-ordination with locations for audit / compliance observations resolution.
  • Training to team on persisting errors pointed by Auditors.

Qualifications

Optimal qualification for success on the job is:

  • Graduation/ Post- Graduation (MBA/ CA preferred) from a recognized institute
  • Experience of over 2 to 5 years in the field ofĀ auditing, including financial, operational, andĀ compliance auditsĀ Ā 
Role Proficiencies:

For successful execution of the job, the candidate should possess:

  • Knowledge of credit, relevant industry and product trends
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and norms
  • Good communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local language
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
