The Program Coordinator provides day-to-day coordination and program support for a statewide network of women's business centers serving entrepreneurs, small businesses, and community stakeholders. An entry-level position ideal for someone who is organized, curious, community-minded, and interested in making a meaningful impact through small business support.

Working closely with program staff and participating business centers, the Program Coordinator will support events and outreach activities, create social media and newsletter content, assist with client intake and data management, and represent the statewide initiative at community and networking events.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, enjoys working with people, has strong attention to detail, and is excited by the opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship and small business ecosystems across the state. Travel to business centers, events, and partner locations will be required as needed.

Responsibilities Include:


  • Provide day-to-day administrative and program support to a statewide network of business centers.
  • Help coordinate communications, deadlines, deliverables, and program activities across multiple locations.
  • Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing workshops, networking events, outreach activities, and other program events.
  • Attend and represent the statewide initiative at events, conferences, workshops, and community activities.
  • Develop and schedule engaging social media content highlighting program activities, success stories, events, resources, and business center initiatives.
  • Gather stories, photos, announcements, and updates from business centers and program partners.
  • Assist with basic graphic design and digital content creation using tools such as Canva.
  • Assist with intake of entrepreneurs and small business clients seeking assistance through the initiative.
  • Help ensure clients receive timely follow-up and appropriate connections to available services.
  • Enter and update information in databases, spreadsheets, CRM systems, or other program tracking tools.
  • Help prepare routine reports, dashboards, and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify missing or inconsistent information and follow up as needed to maintain data quality.
  • Travel to business centers and events throughout the state as needed.


Requirements Include:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management,Communications,or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-2 years related experience preferred.

Annual Security & Fire Safety Report

The federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) requires colleges and universities, both public and private, participating in federal student aid programs to disclose campus safety information, and imposes certain basic requirements for handling incidents of sexual violence and emergency situations.

Florida Tech’s 2026 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Florida Tech; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus.
 
The numbers provided include crime statistics that were reported to local law enforcement agencies, campus security and other Campus Security Authorities.
 
The report also includes institutional policy statements regarding campus safety and security measures; descriptions of prevention and awareness programs; related university procedures and important guidance; and other essential safety information.

Official Transcripts

Official transcripts of all collegiate work must be sent directly from the attended institution to the Office of Human Resources prior to the first day of employment.
