Eckerö Group has recently expanded its fleet with a new vessel,M/S Eckerö Link (formerlyNautica). The vessel is scheduled to enter service later this winter.

We are currently seeking aWatch Motorman to join us onM/S Eckerö Link. This is apermanent position starting immediately or as agreed.

M/S Eckerö Link sails under theSwedish flag and operates daily betweenLångnäs(Åland) andNaantali(Finland). The work rotation follows a1:1 schedule,withtwo weeks on boardfollowed bytwo weeks off.

The official working and safety language onboard isEnglish, while skills inFinnishand Swedish are considered an advantage.

AbouttheRole

As a Watch Motorman, you will participate in the operation, maintenance, and servicing of the vessel's machinery and technical equipment. You willhelpensurethatallworkiscarriedoutsafely,efficiently,andinanenvironmentallyresponsiblemanner,whilecontributingtothesmoothoperationoftheEngineDepartment.

WeAreLookingForSomeoneWho

• Hasrelevantprofessionalexperienceandtherequiredqualificationsfortheposition.

• Demonstratesastrongcommitmenttosafetyandenvironmentalawareness.

• Ispositive,service-minded,andenjoysworkingaspartofateam.

• Possessesstrongtechnicalskillsandaninterestinmarineengineeringandmaintenance.

Qualifications

• AvalidWatchkeepingRatingEngineCertificate(STCWIII/4)isrequired.

• Higherenginedepartmentcertificationsorcompetenciesareconsideredan advantage.
