Job Description:

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the daily operations of a warehouse facility, ensuring efficient and safe handling of inventory and goods. This position involves supervising warehouse staff, managing inventory levels, and coordinating logistics activities. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for maintaining accurate records, implementing safety protocols, and optimizing warehouse procedures to meet productivity targets. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for daily activities of the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory.
  • Coordinate unloading of shipping containers, organizing, and maintaining supplies.
  • Schedule and coordinate shipments to locations.
  • Manage physical inventory and communicate inventory levels to staff.
  • Manage material movement for all VGT/Amusement related projects and installations.
  • Manage field assessments and layouts for all upcoming licensed locations.
  • Monitor and improve shipping procedures to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Manage warehouse staff.
  • Ensure warehouse compliance with all company safety regulations as well as local and federal laws that govern workplace safety.
  • Coordinate training of new employees and ensure that current employees are receiving ongoing training.
  • Provide accurate warehouse productivity reports.
  • Responsible for employee scheduling.
  • Additional duties may be required, such as management of any camera related initiatives.

  • QUALIFICATIONS
    A certificate from college or technical school, at least 3 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience desired
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
  • Versatility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Must be able to pass background check to obtain Terminal Handler License

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hear
  • Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl
  • Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity, including calculating figures and use of a keyboard
  • Occasionally required to lift/push weights up to 1100 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust or focus
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, and outside weather conditions
  • Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals
  • Frequent exposure to blood-borne and airborne pathogens or infectious materials
  • Protective clothing or equipment is required that may include gloves, helmets, steel-toed boots, or protective eyewear
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

Base Pay Range:

$50,000 - $65,000

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The base salary will depend on a number of factors such as: qualifications, experience level, and skillset.
