Warehouse Layout Design Engineer II

Needs strong Warehouse knowledge on the design of the Warehouse and being able to understand all departments etc.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing and planning the inner layout of the warehouse
• Ensuring optimized functioning of the warehouse and achieving maximum efficiency & space utilization
• Develops warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems
• Adopts lean concepts to streamline processes to achieve process flow efficiency
• Organize and manage (or control) warehousing operations, including reception, storage, order preparation and shipments according to SPS principle
• Measures and analyzes warehousing performance (cost and service) and implement corrective actions
• Manages projects to design and optimize warehousing processes

What qualifications will make you successful?

• Bachelor's Degree required
• At least 2 years of warehouse design/optimization experience
• Proficient in computer aided design and drafting software
• Proficient Microsoft Skills and SAP
• Knowledge of Database systems (SQL, Tableau etc.) a plus
