Join us as our Warehouse Foreman

As ourWarehouse Foreman, you will coordinate day-to-day warehouse activities in Rotterdam, helping ensure materials, spare parts, tools and equipment are received, stored and dispatched safely, accurately and on time.

You will provide hands-on direction to the warehouse team, working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and supporting Rotterdam Operations, Benelux Customer Engineering, Bulk Distribution, GIS, continental plants and Operations projects.

Safety is central to everything we do. You will take an active EHS leadership role, contribute to ourZero Incidents objective and ensure warehouse activities are carried out in line with applicable procedures and safe working practices.

As our Warehouse Foreman, you will...

• Plan, coordinate and monitor daily warehouse activities, setting priorities across receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping and housekeeping.
• Act as thefirst point of contact for the warehouse team during daily operations, providing practical guidance and escalating issues to the Warehouse Supervisor when required.
• Manage the issue and receipt ofspare parts, tools, consumables and safety equipment, maintaining accurate stock and transaction records.
• Maintain accurate inventory records inSAP and other reporting tools, investigate discrepancies and support cycle counts and physical stock checks across the Rotterdam warehouses.
• Coordinategoods receiving, identification, storage, picking, packing and shipping, including the required transport and shipping documentation.
• Support and coach colleagues onsafe working methods, equipment use, housekeeping standards and local warehouse procedures.
• Coordinate inspection, certification, repair or refurbishment of tools and equipment, and ensure forklifts, warehouse equipment and storage areas are correctly used and maintained.
• Identify practical opportunities to improvestock accuracy, space utilisation, warehouse processes and service levels, working with the Warehouse Supervisor to implement improvements.

As our Warehouse Foreman, you already are or have...

Required

• Practical experience working in awarehouse, logistics, materials management or similar operational environment.
• Experience coordinating daily workloads and providing hands-on guidance to warehouse colleagues.
• A strong commitment toEnvironment, Health and Safety (EHS) and safe working practices.
• Good understanding of inventory control, goods receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping processes.
• Experience maintaining accurate inventory and warehouse records.
• Confidence working with different internal customers, suppliers and transport providers.
• A practical, organised approach with the ability to prioritise work and resolve day-to-day operational issues.

Preferred

• Experience usingSAP for warehouse or inventory transactions.
• Experience with stock counts, inventory reconciliation and investigating discrepancies.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment, forklifts, inspection requirements and transport documentation.
• Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, engineering or gases environment.
