AbouttheRole

WearelookingforaSecurityCommissioningTechniciantojoinourSystemsteam.

In this role, you will be responsible forthecommissioning,configuration,testing,andoptimisationofsecuritysystems,includingAccessControl,CCTV,andIntercomsolutionsacrossconstructionprojects,tenancyfit-outs,andlarge-scalecustomerenvironments.

Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and customers, you will play a critical role in ensuring systems are deliveredsafely,efficiently,andinaccordancewithprojectspecificationsandoperationalrequirements.YoumayalsoprovidetechnicalsupportduringtheDefectsLiabilityPeriod(DLP)toensuresuccessfulprojectcompletionandcustomersatisfaction.

KeyResponsibilities

• Install,commission,configure,andmaintainsecuritysystems,includingAccessControl,CCTV,andassociatedtechnologies.

• Diagnoseandresolvecomplextechnicalissues,providingexperttroubleshootingandguidancewhenrequired.

• CollaboratecloselywithProjectManagers,Engineers,andkeystakeholderstodeliverprojectsontimeandtospecification.

• Supportprojectplanning,scheduling,andexecutionactivities.

• Maintainahighleveloftechnicalexpertisethroughongoingprofessionaldevelopmentandcontinuouslearning.

• ProvidetechnicalsupportandrecommendationstoEngineeringandSalesteams.

• Contributetocontinuousimprovementinitiatives,qualitystandards,andoperationalefficiencies.

• Mentor,coach,andprovidetechnicalguidancetojuniortechniciansandapprentices.

• Identify,report,andmitigateworkplacehazardstomaintainasafeandcompliantworkenvironment.

• EnsurefullcompliancewithJohnsonControls'Safety,Health&EnvironmentManagementSystem(SHEMS)andallapplicablesafetyprocedures.

AboutYou

Tobesuccessfulinthisrole,youwillbring:

• 2-6years'experienceworkingasaSecurityTechnicianorinasimilartechnicalsecuritysystemsrole.

• AtradequalificationinSecuritySystemsorarelatedfield.

• TheabilitytoobtainorholdacurrentNSWSecurityProviderLicence.

• Provenexperiencecommissioning,configuring,andtroubleshootingintegratedsecuritysolutions.

• StrongknowledgeofITnetworks,serverconfiguration,andsystemintegrationprinciples.

• Experiencedesigningandimplementingsmalltomedium-scalesecuritysystems.

• Theabilitytointerprettechnicaldrawings,schematics,anddocumentation,andpreparetechnicalreports.

• Strongverbalandwrittencommunicationskills.

• Acustomer-focusedapproachwithstrongproblem-solvingcapabilities.

• Flexibilitytotravelasrequired.
