The Opportunity!

We are seeking a commercially minded and technically capable Product Manager – Industrial Bearings to lead the growth and performance of our bearings category across New Zealand.

This is an opportunity to use your industry knowledge to shape product range, support customers and sales teams, build supplier relationships, and identify opportunities to grow market share.

You will work closely with sales, supply chain, marketing and key suppliers to deliver practical, customer-focused solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Developand execute category plans to grow sales, margin and market share.
• Providetechnical product, application and troubleshooting support to internal sales teams and customers.
• Manageproduct ranging, product lifecycle activity and opportunities for new or improved product offerings.
• Build and maintainproductive relationships with key suppliers and customers.
• Supportpricing, promotional, merchandising and sales-development initiatives.
• Deliverproduct training and technical support to internal teams and customers.
• Analysemarket trends, customer needs and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Contributeto sales forecasting, inventory optimisation and S&OP planning.

About you

You will bring:

• Demonstratedtechnical knowledge of industrial bearings, rotating equipment or a related industrial product category.
• Experiencein product management, technical sales, category management or a similar commercial role.
• Strong commercial acumen,with the ability to translate customer needs into practical product solutions.
• Confidencebuilding relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Excellentcommunication, presentation and organisational skills.
• The abilityto manage competing priorities and work to deadlines.
• Strong attentionto detail and proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• A current driver licenceand willingness to travel as required.
